Last Friday Lynne and I helped our daughter Lyndsey get moved into her residence at UNCC. She started classes yesterday on a two year journey to a public health degree. She’s a good bit older than the other ladies in her residence hall, which prompted me to suggest to her that she might become the “den mother!” I have no doubt she’ll be a great example. Help us pray for her success. Go Lyndz!
When Lynne and I returned to our home, waiting on the front porch was the initial author’s copy of my book, “It Gets Even Better.” As instructed, Lynne and I immediately looked it over to see that all is in order. Yesterday I gave the publisher the nod to release the book for sale. We are also planning on a book signing event, hopefully before I go to Africa in September.
