Maybe you’ve noticed word of our upcoming medical/construction/evangelism mission to Honduras on August 1-9, 2015. We have 22 team members participating as we continue our long time ministry relationship with Terry and Arlene Dupont and Open Eyes Ministries in the city of Comoyagua.
It’s been 4 years since JAMin. led a medical project and I’m being reminded of the endless details involved: arranging travel, collecting money, names, passport numbers, ordering prescription medicines, collecting over the counter medicines, gathering medical supplies (purchased and donated), holding team meetings, and more.
Fortunately, the construction team will require less on my part as I can just let these folks do their thing.
We’re looking forward to a busy and productive week, as we will see hundreds of patients while a facility is being built to be used in many forms of ministry. All of those we see will hear the gospel message from our team evangelists. We anticipate many coming to Christ.
You can certainly pray for our efforts, safety and health. Also, check the over the counter (OTC) meds collection list we have posted and see if you can help us. We have collection stations set up at Arlington Baptist Church, or we can arrange to meet and pick up your donations. You may not be able to go, but you can help us go–and thank you for all your efforts.
